  • Gilbertto Prado

    Artist and coordinator of the Poéticas Digitais Group. He studied Arts and Engineering at Unicamp and obtained a PhD in Arts at the University Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne in 1994. He has held and participated in numerous exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. Received the 9th Prix Möbius International des Multimédias, Beijing, China (2001); Rumos Award (2000), Transmídia (2002) - Itaú Cultural; 6th Sérgio Motta Art and Technology Prize, (2006); and Rumos Itaú Cultural (2020), among others. He published the Books Telematic Art: from image exchange to multi-user virtual environments (Itaú Cultural, 2003); and with Jorge La Ferla, Circuito Alameda (Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, Mexico, 2018). He works with network art and interactive installations. He is currently a Professor of the Postgraduate Programs in Visual Arts at ECA – USP and PPG Design at Anhembi Morumbi University.

  • Ana Elisa Carramaschi

    Ana Elisa Carramaschi was born in São Paulo, where she lives and works. She's a master student in Visual Poetics by the Post Graduation Program in Visual Arts at ECA-USP. Graduated in Fine Arts at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado-FAAP. Her works are developed in several languages, from drawings to installations. She's currently researching on intersections between performance, telematics and telepresence in arts. She participated in artistic residencies such as "Obras em Construção" at Casa das Caldeiras; rural residency "Residência São João" and "Ateliê Aberto #3" at Casa Tomada. She participated in exhibitions such as:  "O que não é Performance?" at Centro Universitário Maria Antonia - CEUMA, Performa Paço at Paço das Artes; TRANS_imagem at Galeria Virgílio; 8º Salão Nacional de Arte at Museu de Arte Contemporânea MAC Jataí, where received the jury's special mention, among others. She acted professionally in areas of pre, production, and post production in film and video.

  • Andrei Thomaz

    Andrei Thomaz, 1981, holds a Master in Visual Arts from ECA/USP and works as professor at Istituto Europeo di Design in São Paulo. His artistic work is composed primordially by new media works and several collaborationships, including sound performances and interactive installations.

     

    He also actuates as an interactive developer, working with advertising agencies and TI companies to develop works for clients like AMBEV, Itaú, Pepsi and others.

  • Leonardo Lima

    Leonardo Lima is a PhD student in Visual Arts at ECA / USP. Has a Masters Degree in Technology Intelligence and Digital Design at PUC-SP and is graduated in Industrial Design with specialization in Visual Programming by UNESP. Is currently a professor at FMU in Technology in Digital Games Chair. He is a member of the Digital Poetics research group (ECA / USP) and CS: Games (Tidd / PUC-SP), conducting a research about the poetics of interactive digital images, covering topics such as: video games, language and digital technologies and motion design. Worked professionally as a computer graphics artist for some television networks and game studios.

  • Maurício Trentin

    Artist, designer, researcher and programmer.

     

    Maurício Trentin (1973) holds a PhD in Visual Poetics (2017) from the post graduate program in Visual Arts of the School of Communications and Arts at the University of Sao Paulo (Universidade de São Paulo - ECA/USP).

    Master’s degree in Communications and Semiotics (2010) from Sao Paulo Catholic University (Universidade Católica de São Paulo COS – PUCSP).

    Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design/Visual Communications (1994) from Mackenzie University with specializations at SVA NY, NYFA and Parsons New York (1998).

    Story Seminar/Storynomics Seminar with Robert Mckee (NY_2014/2018).

    Virtual Spatial Systems Design _UDK, Germany (Berlin_2018).

     

    Artistic research in contemporary poetics, tautological systems, multimedia, devices and meaning reassignment system, intersemiotic translations, programming, logical and analog transducers, and nonlinear narratives.

    Theoretical research on aesthetic objects, creative processes, possibilities of interpretative mapping, semiotic conditions of contemporary production, logic, analytical propositions and Peirce’s semiotics.

     

    Member of CCSP (São Paulo Creative Club), ADP (Industrial Designers Guild) and ADG (Brazilian Graphic Designers Association). Past experiences at FAAP (multimedia, ec, 2007) and Atelier Mundo Novo (Origin and Property, 2010), creating artworks, images, devices, sounds and installations since 2005, works as art director and designer, in commissioned branding/tech projects and industrial design since 1994.Visual design and art direction works published by the Archive, Publicis Worldwide Review magazines, the ADG Yearbook of Brazilian Digital Sources and the São Paulo Creation Club Yearbook. Industrial design works published by the magazines Arquitetura e Urbanismo, ArqDesign, KAZA, Casa Vogue, Viver Bem and the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper.
